Sarvodayam Kurian implimented Gandhian thoughts by conducting Sathyagraha and Padayathra to honour his mentor Mahathma Ghandhi on every occasion.

Kurian was instrumental in constructing houses for the needy in Vypin Island. While conducting Sathyagraha for needy causes, Kurian represented the community to the leaders such as AICC President and Tamil Nadu and Central Minister Honourable Kamaraj Nadar. Mr. Badran Njarakat a president’s medal holder in education was Kurian’s close ally.

Kurian used to initiate social movements such as honoring the Javans (Indian army soldiers) involved in protecting the country.
